Availability
may be determined by phone or e-mail. Reservations are subject
to availability.
Securing a room
booking can be completed by:-
1. Providing
credit / debit card number, expiry date and full name of the
card holder as indicated on the card. No payment is taken from
this card until the end of your stay or in the event of a
cancellation or no show when the conditions below apply.
2. Sending a
personal cheque for the full amount of the booking to arrive
no later than 7 days prior to the first night of your stay.
3. When a party
requires to reserve all our rooms, a deposit of £30.00 per
room is taken upon booking. The balance will be required to be
paid in full, not less than 14 days prior to the first night of your stay.
NB: The booking
is not secured until receipt of the cheque, if using securing
method 2.
Cancellation.
If, for any
reason, you need to cancel your booking, payment will be taken
according to the following policy
Three days or
less, prior to commencement of the booking then 100% payment
will be required.
The above
applies, only, if we are unable to re-let the rooms in the
time available.
A "no
show" counts as a cancellation of the booking contract
with no opportunity for us to re-let the rooms and therefore
we will require full payment.
If you think you may have to cancel a booking, whatever the reason, please
contact The Barns Country Guesthouse, by telephone (01777 706336), as soon
as possible, you will be given a cancellation reference number.
In the event of
cancellation where the room has been secured by credit or
debit card, payment will be taken from your card in accordance
with the policy set out above. The machine payment voucher
will be posted to you in order that you may keep accurate
records.
In the event of
a cancellation where the room has been secured by a cheque any
refund due will be made in accordance with the policy set out
above and will be sent by post.
We strongly
advise Cancellation Insurance approved by the Visit Britain
Tourism Council
Arrival
& Departure
We will do
our best to have your room ready for you on arrival. Rooms are
normally ready by 4pm. We ask guests to arrive no later than
9.30pm. If you wish to arrive earlier or later than these
times, please discuss it when enquiring about room
availability.
We require
access to all rooms between 10.00am and 4pm DAILY
We ask
departing guests to vacate their rooms by 10.00am weekdays,
10.30am weekends.
NB: Personal
cheques or cash can be used for payment at the end of your
stay providing your booking was secured by credit or debit
card in the first instance.
